1st Choice Living in Bathgate

Here’s another collaboration with a local Marketing Agency: the development of three websites for local company 1st Choice Living in Bathgate.

The successful company started it’s business with offering double glazing and conservatories in the local area, but soon expanded. They now offer quite an array of products and service to make your home beautiful.

It was our job to take live 3 websites on the same day, make them look as if they are one website – but keep them separate.

Andrew Rennie is a truly skilled craftsman who specialises in gorgeous bespoke wooden jewellery boxes, furniture and other small items which make amazing gifts, if you can give things like that away and not keep for yourself!!

We initially developed Andy’s website in 2007, and after 5 years, it needed a facelift. The “WoodYewBelieveIt” website now has a shopping cart and contains a lot more products than the previous website.

A new website for the Rock Trust Edinburgh

The Rock Trust is a charity that works In Edinburgh and the Lothians with young people between the aged 16- 25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

The Rock Trust advise, educate and support young people to enable them to build the personal skills and resources required to make a positive and healthy transition to adulthood whilst avoiding or moving on from homelessness.

We initially provided the Rock Trust with an updated website about 5 years ago, and now it was time to lift the face of the website again, and include Social Media feeds and the ability to update the website. The Rock Trust website can now be managed fully in house. Pages can be added as and when required. Slide shows can be amended and photo galleries created.

The website is fully flexible to grow with the Rock Trust in the years to come.

A face lift for Slateford Medical Centre

We were initially asked to provide a compact website for the The Slateford Medical Centre in Edinburgh about 5 or 6 years ago. It provides important information for the patients and they can even manage their repeat prescriptions online.

After all this time, we thought it might be useful to give the website a little facelift. We kept the main look of the old website so that patients still feel reassured that they are looking at the at the correct website, but we utilised a content management system which makes it easier for the staff to update the website.

News about practice opening times can be amended and added, information about future flu vaccination dates can be highlighted and the prescriptions can still be managed online.

Because the website is frequented to much by its patients (over 1000 unique visits per month!), we had to do the changeover very fast to avoid downtime. The switch-over was very smooth and the new website went life and replaced the old one without any down time.
